These Directed Drawings are a great way for students to follow simple step-by-step diagrams to create a beautiful picture! These drawings build confidence and set the stage for students to WRITE! Use them as a whole class directed drawing lesson or put them in centers for student to draw and write!

Each Directed Drawing packet will focus on a theme. Each theme includes 10 directed drawings that come in 4 steps and 8 steps! There are a total of 14 writing options for each drawing, which includes sentence starters, word banks and different writing lines. This means that you have the opportunity to differentiate instruction to meet each student’s needs. In other words, students who are just drawing a picture and students who are writing a full report can both use these drawings! In addition to the 14 different options, I’ve included lined paper to print on the backside of paper, so that students will have more space to continue their writing.

*Please note that this is a downloaded pdf file. No physical product will be sent to you.
