Morning Bins provide a hands-on option to morning work and can turn those busy, hectic mornings into meaningful and independent practice! Morning Bins are the perfect way to wake up those little minds. They can also be used for extra practice or early finishers!

⭐Skills included in the Morning Bins:⭐
- Rhyming and Syllables- Roll die and say word that rhymes
- Sounds- Roll die, say letter sound and word that begins with that sound
- Letters- Match uppercase bird to lowercase nest
- Sequence- Sequence pictures and use them to tell story
- Letter Printing- Write uppercase letter than matches lowercase letter
- Sort by Concept- Decide if animal is a bird, mammal or fish
- Finding Details- Find each animal three times and check off animal
- EDITABLE Name Craft- Sort letters on name, color animals pieces and cut them out to make animal
- Patterns- Look at shape patter, trace shapes and draw next two
- Counting Sequence- Count and put numbers in order from 1-10
- Making and Counting Groups- Use snap cubes to build tower that matches number
- Shapes- Spin spinner, find and trace shapes on board
- Measurement- Look at two items and decide which is heavier
- Colors- Use play dough to build word and two items on mat
- Numerals- Count animals and trace matching number
- Comparing- Count item and make an equal group on the other side
- Life Skills- Decide if food is protein, grains, fruit or dairy
- Social/Emotional- Look at face, name emotion and make same face in mirror
- Fine Motor- Feed the pet by transferring pom-poms in dish
- Dramatic Play- Students pretend they are the pet owner or vet at a pet clinic
⭐ Materials Needed⭐
Will I need a lot of extra materials for the Morning Bins? No! I have tried to create the morning bins with resources and manipulatives that you are already have in your classroom. You can easily swap out my suggested manipulatives for some that you already own. Even the monthly Dramatic Play Sets will include all that you need to get started!
⭐ Black and White Version⭐
I included a Black and White Version that you can use to print on color paper. However, there are some color games and activities that works best printed in color.
